TPS Changes for HAITI !!!

info144452

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced a change to the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Haiti. Secretary Noem has partially overturned a previous decision by Secretary Mayorkas. Instead of an 18-month extension, the TPS designation period for Haiti will now be 12 months. This means the expiration date is now August 3, 2025, rather than February 3, 2026. The registration period for new applicants also now ends on August 3, 2025. This change was published in the Federal Register (90 FR 10511) on February 24, 2025.
